Getting ready for our third week!

The third week is beginning!  It is going to be a very HOT week, so please make sure your child brings a water bottle for recess. You and your child will also begin working on our Memory Project.  Be creative! We will share the pages when they are returned and will create a class book.

A Great Start to the Year!

I am so proud of our first two days in kindergarten!  The children are excited as they make new friends, learn our classroom routines and are ready to learn SO much!

Friday is Spirit Day at Claymont--so make sure your child wears his or her new Claymont shirt.

Also--we are collecting cardboard tubes for our creation center.  So save your toilet and paper towels tubes and send them in.

Tomorrow is the first day!

Tomorrow is the day!  Our first day of Kindergarten!!  I am very excited to see all the happy (perhaps a bit nervous) faces at 9:00.  Don't forget to bring a snack, rest time things and a pencil box.  See everyone tomorrow!

The beginning of the school year is getting closer.  I am so excited to meet all my new friends on Thursday, August 8 at 4:00 during Supply Drop!  Don't forget to get a popsicle on the playground afterwards!
